Being faithful to his calling and his gift from God, Pastor Reginald Holmes, Sr. responded to the call of God to serve His people in the role of a pastor.  Pastor Holmes is very passionate about his calling and has a burning desire to win souls and be influenced in uniting families that will worship together.  Pastor Holmes is a native of Chicago, IL.

Prior to the call of a pastor, Pastor Holmes served in several capacities in the Church of God in Christ from usher to Assistant Pastor under the leadership of the late Pastor Tommie Brown of New Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. In Corporate America Pastor Holmes has been a Computer Operator/Analyst for over 25 years.

Pastor Holmes involvement in ministry includes prison ministry, men shelter ministry, supporting women shelters, volunteering at homeless shelters, ministering at nursing homes and the list goes on. Pastor Holmes has been married to Evangelist Precious Holmes for 30 years and they have  4 children.

Precious Holmes is a woman of God that exemplifies a strong passion for ushering people into the presence of God. She is the wife of Pastor Reginald Holmes Sr., pastor of Pure Gospel Ministries. She is the mother of 4 children. First Lady Holmes is a skillful and anointed worship leader, speaker and songwriter. She has written several songs including “Just Because You’re God” (Celebrate CD/ Dr. Wiletta Greene-Johnson and Journeysong). She also wrote the single “Awesome God” from the Stellar nominated CD “The Brown Sisters Live in Chicago” .First Lady Holmes has sang background vocals for many artists such as Pastor Donnie Mcclurkin, Albertina Walker, Vickie Winans and Walter Hawkins. She has a burning desire to provoke worship in the hearts of people universally. The best is yet to come in the dynamic ministry of this bold and godly woman.
